inversed active crossover

it occurred to me that one might run the signal directly to the amp and from there, under significant boost, run the signal to my rane active crossover, and the out to my speakers. im just tying up too many amplifiers

Tou are talking about running a power amp into the Rane and the speakers from there?

You'll have one toasted Rane and zero sound. there is no way to run the Rane without multiple amps.

yeah, the more i thought about it the more it sounded like a bomb, guess i just need som quality crossovers then
